Market Update: Caution Prevails
The S&P 500 dipped 0.5% on Thursday, closing at 5,939.30, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.8% to 19,298.45. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.3% to 42,319.74. Despite Thursday's losses, the Nasdaq and Russell 2000 posted modest weekly gains of 1% and 1.5%, respectively.
